About
- I am here to help you find a way forward through the difficult so that you might fully enjoy the wondrous.
- My approach is non-judgemental, non-dogmatic, and is about finding the therapy that works best for you.
Helping clients to make sense of past experiences and the way these experiences impact the present through coping patterns, and how difficult emotions are processed is something that I am passionate about.
- I have helped clients struggling with anxiety, depression, perfectionism, adjustment issues, interpersonal and relationship challenges, traumatic events, as well as grief and loss.
Working with clients, helping them to develop self-compassion, acquire flexibility in their approach to life, and learn robust coping skills is a deeply satisfying part of my work.
I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, and couples.
I am sensitive to the needs of people from a variety of backgrounds, cultures, and orientations. I work to ensure that your needs as a whole person are respected and that you are listened to.
I am trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gottman Method for Couples Therapy (Level II), Relational Life Therapy (RLT), Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), Transactional Analysis (TA), Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Feedback Informed Therapy.
